Crypto Payments Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine, +7 more countries.

📋 Description

• Processing and executing clients' cryptocurrency requests, which includes converting funds from fiat to crypto and executing transfers to the designated wallet/account, in collaboration with compliance, reconciliation, and payment execution teams;

• Implementing and managing processes for cryptocurrency transactions on behalf of relevant parties within the organization;

• Maintaining close communication and engagement with crypto liquidity providers, crypto exchanges, and trading platforms;

• Mitigating currency risk through the use of hedging instruments and platforms;

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including compliance, legal, and security, to perform thorough investigations;

• Ensuring timely and accurate data entry into appropriate record-keeping tools, maintaining accurate records for efficient financial management;

• Guaranteeing that required liquidity levels are met daily through cross-team collaboration;

• Providing recommendations for risk mitigation and enhancements to transaction monitoring processes;

• Staying informed about industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging trends related to crypto transaction monitoring.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in crypto operations, payment operations, treasury, or similar fintech roles;

• Hands-on experience with cryptocurrency transactions, wallets, exchanges, and blockchain infrastructure;

• Understanding of crypto payment flows, encompassing deposits, withdrawals, conversions, settlements, and liquidity management;

• Experience working with crypto exchanges, liquidity providers, OTC desks, or payment service providers;

• Knowledge of blockchain networks, transaction monitoring, and a fundamental understanding of blockchain explorers;

• Background in risk management, transaction analysis, and identifying patterns of suspicious activity;

• Awareness of compliance requirements associated with crypto operations (KYC/KYB, AML, transaction monitoring);

• Strong analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail when handling financial data and transaction records;

• Ability to manage large volumes of transactions and conduct reconciliations;

• Experience with spreadsheets and financial/operational tools (Excel/Google Sheets, reporting systems, dashboards);

• Proficient in effectively communicating with internal teams and external partners;

• Fluent in Russian and possesses a good command of English.
