Cross-Border Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• We are seeking a Cross-Border Product Manager who will take complete ownership of the Cross-Border product.

• Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Cross-Border.

• Design and optimize the economic model of the product.

• Unlock the current pipeline: VA/VNA in the USA, China corridor, heavy onboarding.

• Build direct corridors (US, EUR/SEPA, CNY) and manage partnerships.

• Establish the strategy for stablecoins: minting and burning, custodial vs. non-custodial decisions.

• Collaborate with Legal/Compliance on regulatory mapping for complete ownership of the underlying flow.

• Measure and report the economics by corridor: TPV, spread, take rate vs. revenue share.

• Coordinate and align Engineering, Compliance, Operations, and Business teams.

• Make decisions amidst regulatory and operational uncertainties.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience: 6+ years as a PM, with at least 3 years in payments, cross-border, FX, or B2B fintech infrastructure.

• Proven track record of launching and operating products on regulated rails (not wrappers) with a direct impact on revenue.

• Advanced English proficiency (Conversational).

• Real money in production: experience managing mission-critical products that process transactions, settlement, reconciliations, and FX.

• Technical expertise in payments: SPEI, SPID, TEF, ACH, SWIFT, VA/VNA/FBO, CLABE, CEP, stablecoins (C/T, on-ramp/off-ramp, custody, sweep, minting/burning) and FX (spot, forwards, rate lock).

• Knowledge of Mexican regulations: IFPE frameworks (LRITF, CUITF), Anti-Money Laundering Law (LFPIORPI), reporting to Banxico and CNBV, and VASP licenses.

• No legal degree required; however, the ability to read and engage with the legal framework is necessary.

• Unit economics: ability to model spreads, transaction costs, and margins.

• Technical fluency: familiarity with REST APIs, webhooks, ledgers, hierarchical account architecture, and SQL.

• Capable of implementing third-party APIs and able to communicate effectively with engineering and marketing without a translator.

• Profile: outcome-oriented, hands-on, influential leadership, and ability to say no when necessary.

• (Desirable) Knowledge of Asian markets.

• (Desirable) Certifications or projects with Chainalysis, Fireblocks, Circle, or Tether.

• (Desirable) Technical background or high literacy in crypto and security.
