Crop Claims Field Adjuster I/II/Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Perform field inspections and associated tasks.

• Interpret maps and aerial imagery, measure agricultural fields, and engage in discussions with farmers about findings.

• Communicate intricate regulations and their interpretations to claimants and agents.

• Conduct investigations regarding crop damage and relay loss information.

• Carry out claim reviews and audits on junior adjusters as assigned.

• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and company policies.

• Contribute towards achieving team objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or its Equivalent.

• Minimum of 6 months experience in the agricultural sector.

• Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program Certification (CAPP) must be acquired within 180 days of the hire date.

• Reliable personal transportation and willingness to travel within the designated territory.

• Valid Driver’s License is required.

• Physical demands include walking in fields for up to 3 miles, climbing bins up to 25 feet, lifting weights between 25 lbs. and 50 lbs., and working outdoors in various weather conditions.

• For Adjuster II: A minimum of 2 years of experience in crop insurance and claims adjusting.

• For Specialist: At least 4 years of experience in the agriculture or crop insurance industry with CAPP certification.
