This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Supervise the integrity, structure, and optimization of donor data within Virtuous to guarantee precise and dependable reporting.
• Collaborate with the Director of Development Operations to establish, document, and enforce data standards, governance policies, and workflows.
• Assist the Director of Development Operations and Philanthropy teams in formulating data-driven strategies to enhance donor retention, acquisition, and lifetime value.
• Create and sustain reports, queries, dashboards, and segmentation logic to support fundraising campaigns and donor services.
• Design and execute automation workflows within Virtuous to boost operational efficiency and improve donor journeys.
• Analyze donor data to provide actionable insights related to donor retention, acquisition, forecasting, and overall fundraising performance.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards that offer leadership and fundraising teams visibility into key performance indicators, fundraising performance, and donor trends.
• Write and optimize SQL queries and support data structures, reporting environments, and ETL processes to ensure accurate and reliable data movement.
• Manage third-party data integrations and imports, ensuring data quality, consistency, and adherence to organizational data standards.
• Act as a training and support resource for staff using Virtuous to enhance adoption, data accuracy, and effective system utilization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Nonprofit Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Three or more years of experience working with a nonprofit CRM, preferably Virtuous.
• Proven experience in building dashboards, automations, and reports within CRM or analytics platforms.
• Proficient in working with data, including experience with relational databases and querying tools (SQL preferred).
• Strong analytical capabilities with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to convert data into actionable insights that support fundraising strategies, donor engagement, and decision-making.
• Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance processes, support data requirements, and improve system adoption.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
• Capacity to manage confidential information with discretion.
• Alignment with Phoenix Rescue Mission’s Christ-centered mission and values.
• Experience with Snowflake or other cloud data warehouse platforms.
• Practical experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and API integrations.
• Experience in supporting fundraising, donor engagement, or development teams.
• Background in working with donor data, segmentation, and campaign performance analysis.
• Previous experience supporting Development, Donor Services, or Marketing teams in a nonprofit setting.
