This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Serve as the main point of contact for Salesforce, offering daily support to team members.
• Enhance and maintain Salesforce configurations, supporter records, campaigns, segmentation, and fundraising workflows.
• Oversee user access, permissions, and routine CRM administrative tasks.
• Diagnose and resolve everyday CRM issues, escalating more complex technical problems when necessary.
• Provide guidance, training, and documentation to assist colleagues with Salesforce.
• Ensure accurate supporter data through cleansing, deduplication, and quality control checks.
• Develop and sustain Salesforce reports and dashboards tailored for various teams and audiences.
• Analyze CRM and campaign data to uncover trends that support fundraising and marketing strategies.
• Facilitate tracking and reporting across applicable systems and channels.
• Assist in managing integrations between Salesforce and external systems.
• Troubleshoot integration and data-flow challenges with both internal and external partners.
• Seek opportunities to streamline systems, minimize unnecessary connections, and enhance processes.
• Serve as the initial point of contact for data protection inquiries and manage responses to external questions and complaints.
• Ensure compliance with supporter data and contact preference processes, including GDPR regulations.
• Provide accurate data and processes for Gift Aid claims to the Fundraising and Finance teams.
• Conduct routine audits and flag any issues related to data protection, security, or compliance.
• Identify and implement enhancements to CRM processes, reporting, and data management.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve system usability and overall effectiveness.
• 1–3+ years of practical CRM administration experience, preferably with Salesforce.
• Familiarity with Salesforce nonprofit data models such as NPSP or NonProfit Cloud is an advantage.
• Proficient in Excel with the capability to analyze data to identify giving trends.
• Experience in maintaining CRM records and enhancing data quality.
• Proven ability to create Salesforce/CRM reports and dashboards.
• Skill in identifying and resolving daily CRM issues.
• Experience with analytics and tracking tools like Google Analytics, Tag Manager, website reporting, CRM reports, and OneTrust.
• Ability to analyze and present data effectively.
• Strong understanding of data quality and information management principles.
• Expertise in producing accurate reports for various audiences.
• Experience in recognizing opportunities to improve systems or processes.
• Proven ability to support colleagues in using systems effectively.
• Solid understanding of data privacy laws and best practices in the charity sector regarding Gift Aid and donor contact preferences.
• Experience in supporting GDPR-compliant data collection and reporting.
• Ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical colleagues.
• Strong experience in managing both external and internal stakeholders.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage workloads efficiently.
• Confident in providing training and daily support.
