This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage incoming calls from patients, healthcare providers, hospitals, and other relevant parties.
• Take action to resolve critical medication interruptions that pose a threat to life.
• Assist patients, caregivers, and clinicians in evaluating potential disruptions in medication administration.
• Diagnose issues with infusion devices and respond to inquiries regarding infusion access.
• Offer support for chronic therapy and home-infusion therapy needs.
• Facilitate communication between patients, caregivers, pharmacists, nurses, hospital personnel, and doctors.
• Ensure prompt delivery of products and supplies.
• Reach out to the necessary personnel as required.
• Record transactions in patients’ electronic health records.
• Keep abreast of the latest Accredo services, products, and resources.
• Integrate information regarding new products and services.
• Recognize trends and needs based on customer/client interactions.
• Provide support in a fast-paced 24/7 clinical call center for Accredo specialty pharmacies.
• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a multistate license in good standing.
• Capability to obtain licensure in all 50 states.
• Valid RN license in the state of primary residence is required.
• A compact license is mandatory.
• At least 5 years of pertinent RN experience in critical care or home infusion.
• Availability to work four 10-hour shifts with varying schedules.
• Flexibility to adjust hours for team PTO coverage is essential.
• Must be willing to work evening, overnight, weekend, every-third-weekend, and some holiday shifts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote.
• Familiarity with legal and regulatory issues is necessary.
• Skill in compiling data and statistics.
• Strong focus on customer service and ability to counsel patients effectively.
• Ability to cultivate and maintain a diverse network of contacts.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities, along with strong organizational skills.
• Must have home internet service through a cable broadband or fiber optic provider.
• Minimum home internet speeds of 10 Mbps for downloads and 5 Mbps for uploads are required.
• A Bachelor of Nursing degree (BSN) is preferred.
• Evening, overnight, and weekend shifts include a shift differential.
