This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.
• Install electrical devices, including compact rack-mounted UPS systems, a variety of batteries, and UPS/Battery monitoring systems.
• Maintain Battery Cabinets, racks, Maintenance Bypass systems, Battery Monitoring Equipment, DC Systems, and other electrical apparatus.
• Conduct remedial services such as failure analysis, troubleshooting, component replacements and repairs, as well as battery string installations and replacements.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and promote additional products.
• Handle troubleshooting inquiries from customers, ensuring satisfactory resolutions.
• Respond promptly to critical situations.
• Educate and mentor team members on proper site work techniques.
• Diagnose hardware, software, and interface issues using testing equipment.
• Prior military experience in electronics or avionics is preferred.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a third-party critical power field service or technical support role -OR- at least five (5) years in an OEM service setting.
• Strong understanding of AC/DC electrical concepts.
• Familiarity with the operation of testing equipment (multi-meters, battery testing devices).
• Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics.
• Knowledge of compliance with FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations and standards.
