This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
β’ Maintain high standards of aircraft availability and reliability
β’ Collaborate closely with the assigned flight crew to address and communicate issues promptly
β’ Coordinate with Base and Line Maintenance Planners for both long- and short-term maintenance forecasting
β’ Maximize aircraft downtime scheduling while ensuring timely completion of necessary maintenance
β’ Work alongside MCC Controllers, Planners, and maintenance service providers to reduce aircraft downtime
β’ Execute or supervise scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for a safe and timely return to service
β’ Review scheduled maintenance activities with the Planning Team to ensure alignment with approved maintenance program requirements
β’ Address unscheduled maintenance incidents and arrange line maintenance, including rectification of MEL items
β’ Maintain accuracy and up-to-date information within aircraft maintenance tracking software
β’ Evaluate work packages for completeness and optimized use of downtime
β’ Ensure timely adherence to fleet campaigns, Airworthiness Directives, and essential Service Bulletins
β’ Assess supplier proposals for RFQs and provide recommendations to the Director of Managed Aircraft
β’ Collaborate with Technical Services to enhance maintenance program efficiency and reliability
β’ Develop effective and efficient processes in partnership with the Director of Managed Aircraft
β’ Mentor and coach less-experienced Crew Chiefs and supporting team members
β’ Possession of an FAA A&P certificate with a minimum of 5 years of experience
β’ At least 3 years of experience in leading maintenance teams
β’ Proven experience in the maintenance of complex turbine-powered aircraft
β’ Strong communication skills within their team, the operation, and across other business units
β’ Ability to work collaboratively to find optimal solutions
β’ Demonstrated proficiency in effective troubleshooting techniques and maintenance processes
β’ Extensive understanding of aircraft maintenance and planning
β’ Ability to consistently deliver results and manage deadlines in a high-pressure environment
β’ Preferred: Holder of an FAA A&P certificate with AI approval, with at least 8 years of experience
β’ Preferred: Successful completion of aircraft type training for the assigned aircraft type
β’ Preferred: More than 5 years of experience in leading maintenance teams
