This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Analyze and review applications from new customers, which include financial statements, tax returns, and credit reports.

• Evaluate the creditworthiness of both businesses and applicants.

• Assess risk, compose concise lending decisions, and establish the conditions under which fuel cards will be provided.

• Oversee extensive queues for onboarding as well as ongoing risk assessments.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 4 years of experience in credit underwriting, demonstrating strong skills in financial analysis and credit assessment.

• Previous U.S. Underwriting Experience: Candidates should possess 1–2 years of underwriting experience specifically in a U.S. fintech environment. U.S.-based underwriting experience is essential, with a preference for candidates from the trucking industry.

• Availability for U.S. Schedule: Candidates must be able to work until 3 PM PST to provide sufficient coverage during the afternoon shift.

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.

• Excellent communication skills with the capability to clearly express risk-related decisions.
