Credit Risk Manager – Retail Banking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Lead the implementation of our credit risk strategy for credit cards, ensuring sustainable portfolio growth.

• Optimize risk management processes, credit flows, and user experience (UX) to balance customer satisfaction with sound risk management practices.

• Continuously enhance credit acceptance criteria, limit management, and fraud prevention measures.

• Monitor and analyze key risk indicators to ensure effective risk control and early problem detection.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams from analytics, operations, and product to ensure data accuracy and strong decision-making support.

• Present ideas and recommendations to senior management, influencing business direction through analytical skills.

⛳️ Requirements

• More than 3 years of proven experience in retail credit risk management.

• A degree in economics, mathematics, or statistics.

• Strong knowledge of retail risk frameworks and demonstrated experience in implementing risk mitigation strategies.

• Confidence in monitoring and interpreting key risk indicators to support business objectives.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office and SQL (knowledge of other analytical tools is a plus).

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
