This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Credit Risk Manager acts as a vital contributor within Greenbox Capital’s credit division, leveraging analytics, predictive models, and portfolio insights to foster business expansion and enhance credit performance.
• This position is responsible for the development and enhancement of essential credit strategies, including offer strategy, portfolio management strategy, and verification strategy.
• The individual collaborates closely with the VP of Credit Risk & Analytics to optimize approval results, manage portfolio risk, boost funnel performance, and facilitate scalable growth.
• Oversee portfolio performance through segmentation, cohort analysis, and strategy refinement.
• Construct and continually enhance credit decision-making frameworks that influence approval strategy, pricing, and portfolio results.
• Assess and improve model performance using business KPIs to enhance predictive accuracy and decision-making quality.
• Collaborate effectively across teams to convert analytics into clear, actionable business decisions.
• A Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, or a related discipline is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in credit risk analytics, ideally in small business lending, non-prime, or high-risk settings.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience in managing and developing teams.
• Demonstrated success in creating or enhancing contemporary credit decision-making frameworks.
• Proven impact in driving business results through analytics and modeling efforts.
• Strong expertise in SQL, Python, and Excel.
• Comprehensive understanding of statistical modeling and techniques for evaluating model performance.
• Experience working with large datasets and credit decision-making systems.
• Familiarity with modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks) and BI tools.
• In-depth understanding of credit underwriting processes, policy design, and segmentation strategies.
