Credit Risk & Analytics – Engagement Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with clients and play a pivotal role in influencing credit decisions, portfolio performance, and risk-adjusted revenue strategies.

• Engage in the complete credit lifecycle, from strategy formulation and pricing to managing portfolio health and performance, ensuring that the risk approach fosters sustainable growth and robust financial results.

• Have a direct impact on profitability, capital efficiency, and long-term scalability.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related discipline is required; an advanced degree is preferred.

• Over 10 years of progressive experience in credit risk management with direct accountability for portfolio performance.

• A minimum of 3 years in a director-level or higher leadership position, overseeing teams.

• Strong background in small business lending, alternative finance, Merchant Cash Advances, or non-prime environments is preferred.

• A proven history of making credit and pricing decisions that yield measurable business outcomes.

• Experience operating at an executive level with significant cross-functional influence.

• Extensive expertise in portfolio management, pricing strategy, and unit economics.

• A solid understanding of underwriting processes, credit policy design, and segmentation strategies.

• Capability to interpret and critically assess analytics outputs without having direct model development ownership.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel; familiarity with SQL and BI tools for data analysis.

• Knowledge of credit decisioning systems, data vendors, and fraud prevention tools.

• Experience in utilizing data to guide strategy, conduct stress testing, and perform scenario planning.
