
Credit Products Specialist II – Equipment Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee underwriting initiatives for intricate loan requests and propose risk-reducing structures.
• Regularly assess the designated loan portfolio to pinpoint credit risks, trends, and financial performance issues.
• Collaborate with sales teams during negotiations and client discussions.
• Work alongside legal departments to examine and negotiate credit agreements.
• Offer mentorship and training to junior credit professionals.
• Identify and highlight areas for improvement within credit processes and procedures.
• Exercise independent judgment and discretion in decisions regarding the assigned portfolio.
• Analyze and resolve issues related to the designated portfolio.
• Undertake special projects and additional responsibilities as needed.
• Comply with regulatory and compliance policies and complete mandatory compliance training.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline, or 10+ years of relevant experience.
• A minimum of 5 years in commercial credit analysis, underwriting, or portfolio management.
• At least 5 years of experience in the specific specialized line of business.
• Expertise in advanced financial modeling and risk assessment.
• Proficient negotiation skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients.
• Experience in structuring complex loan transactions.
• Capability to analyze macroeconomic trends and their implications for credit risk.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, industry-specific credit risks, and structuring commercial credit transactions.
• Ability to identify credit risks and suggest mitigation strategies.
• Experience in managing complex portfolios and ensuring compliance with credit policies.
• Skill in effectively communicating credit decisions to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Capability to lead loan structuring and closing processes with minimal oversight.
• Familiarity with credit agreements, loan documentation, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in financial analysis tools, CRM systems, and underwriting software.
