Credit Modeling Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance credit approval, limit, and behavior models that will determine the risk associated with the customer base.

• Establish credit policies and guidelines that convert models into actionable operational decisions.

• Independently gather and preprocess intricate datasets.

• Continuously assess portfolio performance, identifying declines, opportunities, and necessary modifications to models.

• Utilize Asaas's proprietary transactional data along with external bureau data as inputs for modeling.

• Develop the modeling function by defining and implementing processes, methodologies, rituals, and managing a team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in quantitative credit.

• Extensive technical knowledge in constructing and validating risk models (Score, PD, LGD) and establishing cut-off strategies.

• Experience in building credit models from the ground up.

• Proficiency in data manipulation, modeling, and credit data analysis tools (Python, R, SQL).

• Capability to translate model outputs and scores into credit policies that are both feasible and profitable for the organization.
