Credit & Collections Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee all accounts within the designated territory and transform them into high cash-generating areas.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date Accounts Receivable standings through effective collections, credit assessments, research, and analysis.

• Set and uphold appropriate credit limits by evaluating DSO and utilizing external credit risk management tools and reports.

• Foster cross-departmental relationships to facilitate swift resolutions of invoicing issues.

• Ensure timely payments through diligent communication via phone, email, and written correspondence.

• Initiate customer retention strategies through consistent daily engagement.

• Formulate strategies to secure on-time payments and avert credit hold situations.

• Provide support for audits, collections, and bad debt analysis.

• Adhere to U.S. FDA medical device regulatory requirements, ISO 13485 standards, and other relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of preferred experience in collections.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience is required.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Effective organizational abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

• Capability to comply with U.S. FDA medical device regulatory standards.

• Ability to adhere to applicable ISO 13485 standard requirements.

• Must be able to sit for 75–100% of the work duration.

• Skilled in using hands and fingers for manipulation of items, including keyboards, for up to 100% of the work duration.

• Must be able to stand, talk, and hear for 75% of the work duration.

• Capable of lifting and carrying up to ten pounds for up to 20% of the work duration.

• Close vision: ability to see clearly at a distance of twenty inches or less.

• Experience with SAP is a plus.

• Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.

• Experience with GetPaid is a plus.
