Credentialing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Conduct research on credentialing and licensing, validate data, and perform compliance checks to support LicenseManager Pro and SanctionCheck operations.

• Evaluate and analyze documentation from vendors, regulatory bodies, and professional boards.

• Research, confirm, and enter credentialing and licensure details in accordance with client specifications.

• Implement compliance standards and regulatory guidelines to ensure the precision of data.

• Monitor and track the progress of cases, escalating complex issues as needed.

• Record findings and maintain comprehensive case notes for review by leadership.

• Contribute to quality assurance through organized training and adherence to performance standards.

• Complete designated credentialing assignments under direct supervision.

• Acquire knowledge of and adhere to established workflows and quality review protocols.

• Manage credentialing and sanction checks with limited supervision as proficiency increases.

• Investigate and resolve intricate cases at advanced levels.

• Mentor colleagues, coordinate tasks, monitor trends, and aid in process enhancement at higher levels.

• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to adhere to structured processes.

• Capability to proficiently navigate the internet for research tasks.

• Previous experience in background screening, credentialing, or compliance research is preferred.

• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite and case management software.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capacity to multitask, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced setting.

• Basic research skills coupled with a keen attention to detail.

• Developing proficiency in computer skills and data entry.

• Ability to manage data entry across various units and undergo cross-training in multiple processes.

• For candidates from Global Shared Services Philippines, onsite work in Quezon City with a shifting schedule is essential.
