Credentialing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the credentialing associate team.

• Provide training for the credentialing associate team.

• Document all processes related to BetterHelp Insurance Credentialing.

• Analyze and revise processes for necessary improvements.

• Offer daily guidance, training, and support to credentialing associates and the internal BetterHelp team.

• Identify and resolve inefficiencies in the credentialing and recredentialing procedures.

• Build and sustain the credentialing team’s relationships with other BetterHelp teams.

• Monitor application statuses, credentialing deadlines, and recredentialing timelines to guarantee timely completion.

• Assess and enhance processes to improve timelines.

• Keep accurate and current provider information in internal databases and Verifiable.

• Coordinate with CVO to address any issues or delays in the credentialing process.

• Provide regular updates to leadership on essential metrics and process enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare credentialing, operations, or administrative support within a payer or provider environment.

• Strong knowledge of NCQA credentialing standards and best practices.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and experienced with CRM or credentialing software (e.g., CAQH, Verifable).

• Excellent organizational and communication abilities, with a capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Experience in credentialing for behavioral health or mental health providers.
