This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Oversee the precise and efficient Credentialing and Recredentialing processes for providers within the Medicaid Business Segment.
• Guarantee the timely and accurate handling of credentialing and recredentialing for individual practitioners as well as organizations.
• Organize meetings for the Credentialing Committee.
• Identify and relay agenda items for the Credentialing Committee to the immediate supervisor.
• Ensure prompt collaboration with the Credentialing Verification Organization (CVO).
• Review and uphold the accuracy and completeness of all applications.
• Accurately and efficiently input primary source verification data into the credentialing database.
• Produce and distribute approval letters to participating providers.
• Liaise with Network Services regarding the status of provider and organizational credentialing.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare-related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in provider credentialing.
• High School Diploma or GED in a general field of study.
• An Associate's Degree in a general field of study is preferred.
• Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) certification is preferred.
