This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Take ownership of the LATAM content slate, ensuring a robust pipeline of culturally relevant and high-quality projects.
• Lead the creative development process across various projects, which includes evaluating scripts, developing stories, and adapting content for local audiences.
• Provide comprehensive creative direction to writers, directors, and production partners to guarantee engaging storytelling and strong audience interaction.
• Ensure that all content aligns with ReelShort’s brand voice, tone, and performance expectations.
• Identify content opportunities by analyzing regional trends, audience insights, and emerging formats in the LATAM market.
• Supervise the end-to-end execution of multiple productions, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to scope, and maintenance of high standards.
• Collaborate closely with Creative Project Managers to manage timelines, workflows, and deliverables for all LATAM projects.
• Establish effective production frameworks, workflows, and best practices to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and proactively implement solutions to facilitate smooth execution.
• Ensure collaboration among creative, production, marketing, and localization teams.
• Cultivate relationships with external production companies, creative partners, and vendors throughout the LATAM region.
• Identify, assess, and onboard top-tier creative talent and production partners.
• Provide strategic guidance and feedback to vendors to uphold consistent quality and execution.
• Oversee vendor performance, ensuring all deliverables meet creative and technical standards.
• Ensure clear communication and information flow across teams, keeping stakeholders informed about priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
• Manage production documentation, including contracts, deliverables, and reporting, in collaboration with internal teams.
• Collaborate with finance and legal teams on budgets, contracts, and vendor agreements.
• Assist in developing marketing strategies by aligning creative output with audience growth and platform performance objectives.
• Maintain visibility across all active projects and ensure organizational clarity across departments.
• Act as the central leader for all LATAM productions, offering direction, guidance, and support to Creative Project Managers and cross-functional teams.
• Mentor and develop junior team members to build a capable and scalable regional production team.
• Promote a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance team culture.
• Ensure that teams have the necessary tools, clarity, and structure to execute successfully.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in creative production, producing, or content development within the entertainment, streaming, or digital media sectors.
• Demonstrated experience in overseeing multiple projects or a content slate, with strong creative and operational management skills.
• Exceptional creative judgment with experience in scripted content development and storytelling.
• Experience collaborating with external vendors, production companies, and creative talent.
• Strong project management and organizational capabilities, adept at managing complex workflows across teams.
• In-depth understanding of LATAM audiences, cultural nuances, and content trends.
• Ability to lead through influence, providing direction without being involved in day-to-day production tasks.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish is required; proficiency in Portuguese is a significant advantage.
• Experience in vertical content, short-form video, or streaming entertainment is a plus.
• Competitive salary of USD 4,000 per month.
