This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the overall creative vision and quality standards for creative production across various workstreams, ensuring quality, efficiency, and scalability.
• Convert our brand vision into a clear creative direction for both in-house and external creative partners/resources, offering guidance on their work and ensuring their results meet the team's requirements for future iterations and applications.
• Lead, mentor, and develop creative team members across different disciplines.
• Enhance the team's ability to think conceptually, execute systematically, and collaborate cross-functionally to achieve project and business goals.
• Establish and refine processes that enhance speed, output, and creative effectiveness.
• Identify, assess, and manage external creative production vendors and partners.
• Collaborate with Growth, Product Marketing, Content, and other teams to align creative efforts with business objectives.
• Continuously update best practices for Hometap to drive engagement and action from our creative initiatives; incorporate the latest research, channel best practices, and third-party expertise (e.g., Google, Facebook, Media agency guidelines) to inform all our efforts.
• Work with creative project management to allocate resources and prioritize tasks based on urgency.
• Present innovative ideas grounded in industry trends, performance insights, and cultural relevance.
• Over 10 years of experience in a creative role, with a minimum of 5 years leading creative teams that include copywriters, designers, and motion graphic artists.
• Experience in video and photography production.
• Highly collaborative — enjoys partnering with and supporting the needs of various internal stakeholders.
• Proven experience mentoring a high-performance team; a people leader capable of identifying, recruiting, and developing top talent to produce exceptional work.
• Comfortable sourcing, evaluating, and managing external creative agencies, contractors, and freelancers.
• Creatively knowledgeable; stays current and ahead of the latest design, video, and other creative trends and digital advancements.
• Experienced in rigorously testing and optimizing creative to achieve performance goals.
• Highly organized, with a background in optimizing processes to brief, prioritize, and fulfill creative requests.
• Fast-paced, results-oriented, and adept at prioritizing competing demands from multiple internal partners.
• Low-ego and willing to engage hands-on, but skilled at delegating and coaching to manage team output effectively.
• Able to inspire exceptional work from your team, ranging from paid social campaigns to PowerPoint templates.
• Experience in the consumer finance or fintech sector is a plus!
