This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
β’ Assist with various high-impact initiatives that promote the statewide adoption of high-quality instructional materials (HQIM) and supplementary resources that conform to updated science standards.
β’ Spearhead the creation of a unified, state-sanctioned design framework for the initial launch of Kβ2 supplemental science units, ensuring that the materials are visually appealing, user-friendly, and tailored for use by districts, educators, and students.
β’ Implement this design framework on existing Tennessee-adapted units and collaborate on the development of nine additional units for a future release.
β’ Offer continuous support for accessibility compliance and graphic design across multiple related Academics projects, ensuring that all outputs meet state and federal accessibility guidelines and align with TDOE branding standards.
β’ Help maintain consistency across materials, ensure timely delivery of outputs, and facilitate effective implementation aligned with the statewide work plan in coordination with the division's leadership and project stakeholders.
β’ Advanced proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Suite: PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
β’ Advanced proficiency and knowledge of Adobe Pro.
β’ Experience or background in branding, digital marketing, or graphic design.
β’ Familiarity with InDesign and Canva.
β’ Understanding of State and Federal ADA Compliance Regulations, with the ability to implement these standards in TDOE developed documents and resources related to this project's scope.
β’ Compliance with TDOE guidance on style and branding standards.
β’ Background in Science content for K-12 materials is preferred.
