Crane Operator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Unload and set up various types of cranes.

• Conduct daily maintenance on cranes and booms.

• Regularly inspect cranes to guarantee safe operations.

• Interpret load charts.

• Operate cranes safely to position bridge structure components, including driving piles, placing rebar, pouring concrete, installing and removing form systems, as well as related tasks such as loading and unloading trucks.

• Efficiently disassemble and prepare cranes for transportation.

• Securely position and fasten loads on the boom truck bed.

• Safely drive the loaded boom truck from one job site to another.

• Maintain proper care and upkeep of company equipment.

• Often work over 40 hours per week, including non-standard hours such as night shifts, Saturdays, and occasionally Sundays.

• Execute additional tasks as directed by the supervisor.


⛳️ Requirements

• A valid driver's license for the state of residence, with an acceptable driving record according to company standards.

• Class B Commercial Driver's License with an Airbrake endorsement for Boom Truck Operation.

• Must meet the established RCI minimum hiring criteria for CDL drivers.

• Crane Operator’s Certification or a willingness to attend certification courses.

• Successful completion of the MoDOT Flagger Training Course is required.

• Preferably, a minimum of 3 years of experience operating hydraulic or conventional cranes or equivalent experience.

• Required to wear personal protective equipment.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a current Medical Examiner’s Certificate as outlined in 49 CFR 391.43(h).
