This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Implement and enforce all safety regulations in accordance with customer, OSHA, NFPA 70E, and corporate policies.
• Facilitate daily safety meetings, conduct job-site audits, and oversee incident investigations.
• Create and revise comprehensive work plans, manpower forecasts, and look-ahead schedules.
• Assign crew responsibilities and confirm craft qualifications.
• Supervise and guide crews and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project scope and expectations.
• Manage the security of tools, equipment, and materials; verify deliveries and inspect incoming products.
• Ensure all documentation, including daily reports, time entries, and permits, are complete and accurate.
• Actively oversee schedules to sustain project momentum and adhere to deadlines.
• Maintain precise timecards, daily reports, and work permits.
• Implement industry best practices to reduce rework, delays, and budget overruns.
• Track labor hours, material usage, and change orders to manage the project budget effectively.
• Collaborate with project managers and operations teams for financial reporting.
• Guarantee that all work meets customer specifications, industry standards, and internal guidelines.
• Perform inspections and enforce corrective actions when necessary.
• Work alongside QA/QC personnel for documentation and turnover packages.
• Act as the primary on-site contact for customers.
• Maintain open lines of communication and swiftly address any issues or concerns.
• Promote customer satisfaction through transparency, responsiveness, and professionalism.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve project challenges promptly and effectively.
• Anticipate potential challenges and initiate proactive corrective measures.
• Appropriately escalate issues while ensuring continuous project progress.
• A minimum of 5–10 years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent in industrial settings.
• Extensive knowledge of NEC, electrical installation standards, and construction practices.
• Strong understanding of electrical services, construction methods, and relevant safety regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams); familiarity with Lotus Notes is preferred.
• Ability to stand/walk frequently (33%–66% of the time).
• Ability to occasionally lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Capability to bend, kneel, squat, climb, and reach occasionally.
• Willingness to work in various site conditions, including extreme weather, noise, dust, and environmental hazards.
• Flexibility to work irregular and extended hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Strong independent decision-making skills under pressure.
• Ability to multitask and manage complex planning.
• Quick decision-making capabilities in high-pressure situations.
• Skill in managing competing deadlines and shifting priorities.
