CPA, Certified Public Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Prepare, review, and evaluate financial statements and reports in compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, or other relevant standards.

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.

• Facilitate and coordinate internal and external audits; act as the main point of contact for auditors and ensure timely and accurate submissions.

• Manage tax compliance duties encompassing federal, state, and local filings; assist in preparing essential documentation for tax submissions.

• Aid in the preparation of budgets, forecasting, and monitoring cash flow.

• Identify financial risks and inefficiencies; propose cost-reduction initiatives and enhancements to processes.

• Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of internal controls and accounting policies.

• Collaborate with FP&A, operations, legal, and leadership teams to provide financial insights and support business initiatives.

• Manage multi-entity and multi-currency transactions (if applicable).

• Mentor and evaluate the work of junior accounting personnel, ensuring adherence to best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Master’s degree is preferred.

• CPA certification is strongly preferred.

• Over 10 years of progressive accounting experience, with a minimum of 8 years in a senior or supervisory role.

• Extensive knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.

• Proficient in ERP/accounting systems (e.g., MS Dynamics & Netsuite) with strong MS Excel capabilities required.

• Familiarity with tools for budgeting, reporting, forecasting, and audit support.

• Comfortable working with international and multi-currency accounting processes.

• Strong analytical and financial modeling abilities.
