This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Contact courts regarding individual orders and provide updates on general court statuses, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to existing orders.
• Communicate with court personnel, attorneys, and clients in a precise and professional manner through remote calls and emails, maintaining a positive service attitude.
• Utilize Skye (our in-house application) to process documents, input informative updates/notes, and perform other data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy.
• Consistently manage incoming and outgoing phone calls to assist courts and clients with inquiries, while also handling calls from courts and customers.
• Convey relevant and updated information from courts to our process servers and clients as necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to identify root causes and inefficiencies in processes that occur as documents transit to and from the court.
• Navigate and comprehend court dockets to understand the communication of case documents and statuses, as well as downloading documents directly and importing them into our internal application as required.
• Carry out other job-related responsibilities as assigned.
• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in the legal field is preferred.
• At least 1 year of customer support, call center, or retail experience in a customer-facing, service-oriented role is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively in a remote setting, utilizing platforms such as Teams/Zoom for outbound calls, Teams for chatting, and Outlook for emails.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite applications such as Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word, along with other programs like online fax services.
• Experience with document manipulation (PDFs).
• Capable of performing repetitive data-entry tasks with precision.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• A quick learner who is eager to learn and grow.
