Course Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Convert written educational materials into captivating online courses

• Modify lessons, activities, and assessments for efficient online presentation

• Design and create interactive, responsive e-learning modules utilizing Articulate Rise 360 and Storyline

• Develop engaging and visually attractive content

• Integrate course materials into Canvas LMS to facilitate student access, tracking, and interaction

• Create assessments and Dropbox items within Canvas that integrate into the grading system

• Incorporate multimedia components such as videos, graphics, quizzes, and activities

• Ensure course materials are accessible to students with disabilities and comply with accessibility standards

• Monitor and assess course effectiveness, collect feedback, and implement updates and enhancements

• Collaborate with subject matter experts, educators, and instructional designers to align content with educational objectives and outcomes

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related discipline

• Demonstrated experience in instructional design and the development of online courses

• Proficient in using Articulate Rise 360 and Storyline for producing interactive e-learning content

• Familiarity with Canvas LMS and experience in LMS administration

• Strong knowledge of educational technology and best practices in online learning

• Understanding of accessibility standards and experience in creating accessible content

• Outstanding communication and teamwork abilities

• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and ongoing improvement
