
Coupa Functional Expert – Procurement, Expense Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Oversee the complete implementation and support processes for the Coupa Procurement and Expense Management modules.
• Collect, evaluate, and document business requirements concerning procurement, sourcing, invoicing, supplier onboarding, and expense management.
• Configure Coupa modules, including Requisition Management, Purchase Orders, Approval Workflows, Supplier Management, Invoicing, Expense Management, Budget Controls, and Catalog Management.
• Lead Procure-to-Pay (P2P) transformation projects and enhance procurement operations.
• Partner with business stakeholders, procurement teams, finance teams, and technical teams to provide scalable solutions.
• Conduct fit-gap analysis and suggest best practices in line with Coupa's capabilities.
• Assist with integration processes between Coupa and ERP systems such as SAP ERP, Oracle ERP Cloud, Oracle E-Business Suite, or other finance platforms.
• Collaborate with technical/integration teams on API, middleware, and data migration tasks.
• Engage in SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production deployment activities.
• Offer post-go-live support, troubleshoot issues, and provide enhancement suggestions.
• More than 8 years of overall IT experience with a robust functional background in procurement and expense management solutions.
• At least 4 years of direct experience in Coupa implementation and support projects.
• Comprehensive understanding of: Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Source-to-Contract (S2C), Supplier Lifecycle Management, Expense Management, Invoice Processing, and Procurement Operations.
• Proficient in Coupa configuration, workflow setup, approvals, and business rule management.
• Strong grasp of procurement and finance business processes.
• Experience with ERP integrations and middleware solutions.
• Familiarity with API integrations, flat files, and data mapping principles.
• Background in both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Capability to engage effectively with business users and leadership teams.
