This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.
• Formulate and implement market expansion strategies aimed at enhancing brand visibility, acquiring customers, and driving commercial results across New Zealand.
• Oversee comprehensive marketing campaigns across various channels, including television, radio, sponsorships, digital marketing, CRM, affiliates, PR, print, and outdoor advertising.
• Tailor global marketing campaigns and brand communications to align with local market trends, consumer behavior, and cultural nuances.
• Manage and enhance performance marketing initiatives in partnership with both internal teams and external agencies.
• Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with media agencies, creative collaborators, production firms, and media proprietors.
• Direct agency selection processes, negotiations, and the management of partnerships.
• Take ownership of annual marketing strategies, budgets, KPIs, forecasting, and overall market performance.
• Create local creative assets and communication plans to bolster brand positioning and customer engagement.
• Evaluate campaign effectiveness, ROI, CPA, and acquisition metrics to refine future campaigns.
• Ensure all marketing efforts comply with local regulations and responsible advertising standards.
• Identify market prospects and consumer trends to enhance acquisition, retention, and long-term growth strategies.
• Collaborate across functions with commercial, product, CRM, and international marketing teams.
• At least 5 years of experience in senior marketing, commercial, or market leadership positions within high-volume B2C sectors.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the online gaming or iGaming sector in New Zealand.
• Demonstrated success in launching brands and fostering business growth in the New Zealand market.
• Strong comprehension of the media, advertising, and marketing landscape in New Zealand.
• Experience in managing relationships with agencies, media owners, and creative production partners.
• Practical experience in managing substantial ATL and performance marketing budgets.
• Solid knowledge of campaign planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance enhancement.
• Experience in leading, mentoring, and developing teams.
• A commercially driven mindset complemented by strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced international setting.
• Thorough understanding of compliance obligations and responsible marketing practices in regulated industries.
