Country Marketing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Indonesia.

📋 Description

• Utilize market insights to formulate a marketing strategy aimed at enhancing Duolingo’s visibility, brand affinity, and increasing user numbers in Indonesia.

• Recruit and manage agencies or contractors necessary for executing the marketing strategy.

• Execute the plan with an emphasis on social media, partnerships, branding, acquisition campaigns, and public relations.

• Serve as a local spokesperson, identifying and coordinating speaking engagements in Indonesia for yourself and key executives.

• Evaluate the outcomes of local marketing initiatives and refine the strategy accordingly.

• Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to create localized messaging and positioning for product features and launches.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in conceptualizing, developing, and overseeing all facets of Marketing.

• Culturally aware and deeply engaged with trends, especially in Social Media, understanding the interests of Indonesian consumers and crafting attention-grabbing ideas.

• A history of achieving outstanding results through innovative ideas rather than relying solely on substantial budgets.

• A skilled storyteller, capable of creating engaging customer-centric narratives through strong writing and creative abilities.

• Over 8 years of consumer marketing experience with a significant emphasis on social media and growth marketing.

• Experience collaborating within a remote team, fostering solid relationships with HQ, and effectively advocating for local market requirements.

• Proficient in both spoken and written English.
