• Formulate and implement the growth strategy for Thailand and Vietnam, focusing on market expansion, client acquisition, revenue generation, and sustainable business development.
• Lead, manage, and expand the current regional team across sales, business development, partnerships, and support functions, ensuring the structure is designed to achieve fivefold growth.
• Take ownership of essential commercial KPIs such as accounts opened, deposits, trading volume, revenue, team productivity, and overall regional performance.
• Establish and enhance strategic relationships with high-value clients, introducing brokers (IBs), affiliates, partners, and other local business channels to expedite market penetration.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and regional leadership teams to tailor go-to-market strategies, boost client conversion, and improve retention across both nations.
• Ensure high execution standards in people leadership, budget management, reporting, compliance awareness, and operational efficiency, aligned with business priorities.
• Over 8 years of pertinent experience in leading Forex, CFD, brokerage, fintech, financial services, or a closely related trading environment.
• Proven ability to lead and scale commercial teams, showcasing strong people management and performance leadership skills.
• Track record of success in market expansion, business development, and revenue growth in competitive regional markets.
• Strong grasp of FX/CFD products, trader behavior, client lifecycle management, and sales performance metrics.
• Exceptional commercial judgment, negotiation skills, stakeholder management, and the capability to build trusted external partnerships.
• Proficient in English communication, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven, and cross-functional environment.
• Direct experience managing the Thailand and/or Vietnam markets within a brokerage, fintech, or trading business.
• Established network of IBs, affiliates, sales partners, or high-value clients throughout Southeast Asia.
• Experience in launching or scaling a market from an early-stage growth phase to a more established regional operation.
• Comprehensive knowledge of digital acquisition channels, regional marketing strategy, and conversion-focused growth initiatives.
• Familiarity with regulated financial products, compliance-sensitive environments, and cross-border stakeholder management.
• Proficiency in the local language of Thai and/or Vietnamese would be a significant advantage. Additionally, candidates who speak Chinese or Cantonese are preferred.
