This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Open and cultivate the Brazilian market from start to finish as the company's inaugural local hire.
• Generate the company's initial recurring revenue in Brazil through prospecting, demonstrations, negotiations, and closing deals.
• Construct and oversee a qualified pipeline across sectors such as Forestry, Agro, Carbon Projects, Government, Conservation NGOs, and related fields.
• Modify the existing commercial playbook to suit the Brazilian market and implement it with a high degree of autonomy.
• Activate local partnerships to enhance sales, referrals, and presence within the ecosystem.
• Represent the company at pertinent events, congresses, industry gatherings, and in-person commercial opportunities in Brazil.
• Collaborate closely with the global team on technical transitions, client onboarding, and ensuring customer success.
• Recruit and onboard the first local Sales Development Representative (SDR) once revenue targets are met.
• Native Brazilian currently residing in Brazil.
• Mid-Senior or Senior commercial profile with substantial B2B sales experience.
• Demonstrated hunter mentality, with clear proof of prospecting, market entry, and pipeline development from the ground up.
• Experience in selling within at least one relevant vertical: Forestry, Agro, Carbon Projects, Government, Insurance, NGOs, Climate, or Environmental Services.
• Strong history of commercial execution, with the ability to manage the complete sales cycle independently.
• Highly self-sufficient, driven, and comfortable functioning without an established local commercial framework.
• Excellent relationship-building skills, with an active network in at least one relevant sector.
• Fluent in Portuguese and proficient in Spanish, as daily interactions with the global team occur in Spanish.
• Disciplined in CRM usage, pipeline management, and weekly sales forecasting.
• Truly motivated by environmental impact, wildfire prevention, and biodiversity conservation.
• Quick, adaptable, transparent, and at ease in a high-expectation startup environment.
• Builder role: Take ownership of establishing the Brazilian market with significant autonomy and visibility.
• Compensation: USD fixed salary complemented by variable compensation linked to performance.
• Commission: 10% commission on sales generated.
• Time off: 15 business days of vacation annually.
