This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.

📋 Description

• Create strategic plans for brand development and acquisition marketing initiatives throughout the region.

• Oversee and manage customer acquisition media channels, including Above the Line TV and radio, sponsorships, print, out-of-home, and public relations.

• Responsible for digital marketing and other performance-based marketing channels, collaborating with both in-house teams and external agencies.

• Cultivate and manage relationships with local third-party entities, such as media agencies, media groups, and marketing, creative, and production agencies. This encompasses agency selection and commercial negotiations.

• Take ownership of a comprehensive annual marketing plan, including corresponding budgets and targets.

• Act as the brand champion for the local brand, adapting global brand positioning, creative elements, and tone of voice, as well as developing tailored local brand assets and marketing campaigns.

• Conduct pre and post-initiative analysis and reporting to assess campaign ROI, CPA, and optimization strategies for future initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with all gambling rules and regulations across all communication channels.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar marketing leadership position, either agency or client-side, within a high transactional volume industry.

• At least 3 years’ experience in B2C online gaming in New Zealand.

• Demonstrated success in launching a new brand and achieving rapid business growth within New Zealand.

• Comprehensive knowledge of the New Zealand advertising and media landscape, including the ability to establish and maintain relationships with specialist media agencies and media owners.

• Proven hands-on experience managing substantial Above the Line marketing budgets, overseeing campaigns from inception to completion, including briefing, forecasting, tracking, reporting, and performance analysis.

• Experience in people management, including recruitment, training, and personal development.
