Country Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and lead Nebius’ strategy for the Japan market, which includes GTM planning, segmentation, and execution.

• Build, manage, and expand the Japan team across sales, partnerships, marketing, and solutions engineering.

• Hold full operational accountability for the region, including driving revenue growth, forecasting, and maintaining operational cadence.

• Develop enterprise and strategic accounts while personally engaging with senior stakeholders at key client organizations.

• Establish and enhance partnerships, including cloud ecosystems, Global System Integrators (GSIs), and local partners.

• Adapt global strategy to fit Japan’s market needs, ensuring strong alignment while addressing specific market requirements.

• Represent Nebius in external engagements, enhancing brand visibility with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.

• Provide insightful market feedback to global teams, impacting product development, pricing strategies, and market positioning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of progressive experience in GTM leadership, with a minimum of 7 years in senior executive positions (VP or above) within Japan.

• Demonstrated experience as a Country Manager, Managing Director, RVP, or similar role in a top-tier technology firm.

• Proven success in owning and expanding P&L within enterprise software, SaaS, or cloud sectors in Japan.

• Extensive knowledge in enterprise sales, consistently exceeding revenue targets and other key performance indicators.

• Prior experience with cloud service providers and AI/ML platforms is highly desirable.

• Established network among enterprise customers, GSIs, and the partner ecosystem in Japan.

• Proven ability to build and grow high-performing teams in a rapidly evolving environment.

• Experience in collaborating with global headquarters while exercising local autonomy.

• Native-level proficiency in Japanese and business-level proficiency in English (or higher).
