This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.
• Create and implement strategic plans aimed at enhancing brand recognition, customer acquisition, and market expansion throughout New Zealand.
• Direct and oversee multi-channel marketing efforts, encompassing TV, radio, sponsorships, print, out-of-home advertising, public relations, digital marketing, affiliates, and customer relationship management activities.
• Tailor global brand strategies, campaigns, and messaging to resonate with the New Zealand market and cater to local audience preferences.
• Manage performance-driven marketing channels in partnership with internal teams and external agencies.
• Establish and nurture robust relationships with local media agencies, creative partners, production firms, and media owners.
• Handle agency selection processes, commercial negotiations, and external collaborations.
• Assume responsibility for annual marketing strategies, budgets, targets, and overall market performance.
• Create local brand assets, innovative campaigns, and communication strategies to enhance market presence and engage customers.
• Evaluate campaign performance, return on investment, cost per acquisition, and acquisition metrics to refine future marketing efforts.
• Ensure that all marketing initiatives and communication channels adhere to local gambling regulations and industry standards.
• Serve as the customer advocate by identifying market opportunities, enhancing acquisition and retention strategies, and driving commercial success across all channels.
• At least 5 years of experience in a senior marketing or commercial leadership position within a high-volume transactional industry.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the B2C online gaming sector in New Zealand.
• Demonstrated success in launching brands and driving rapid business growth in the New Zealand market.
• Comprehensive understanding of the advertising, media, and marketing landscape in New Zealand.
• Experience in managing relationships with media agencies, media owners, creative agencies, and production partners.
• Practical experience in overseeing substantial above-the-line marketing budgets and managing end-to-end campaign execution.
• Strong skills in campaign planning, forecasting, tracking, reporting, performance analysis, and optimization.
• Proven experience in leading and developing teams, including recruitment, training, mentoring, and performance evaluation.
• Strong commercial insight with a data-driven and results-focused approach.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation abilities.
• Capability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional international teams.
• In-depth understanding of compliance requirements and responsible advertising practices within regulated industries.
