Country Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of Fasset’s P&L, growth objectives, and market strategy for Japan.

• Establish and nurture relationships with local partners, merchants, and financial institutions.

• Spearhead user acquisition, activation, and retention strategies in the market.

• Act as Fasset's representative with regulators, government entities, and industry associations in Japan.

• Recruit, oversee, and develop a local team, including community ambassadors and business development personnel.

• Deliver market insights, competitive analysis, and localization suggestions to headquarters.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a country management or market leadership position, preferably in fintech, payments, or financial services.

• Extensive network and comprehension of Japan’s financial, technology, or startup landscape.

• Demonstrated success in driving growth and leading cross-functional teams.

• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Proficiency in English is required; fluency in Japanese is highly preferred.
