This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary representative for Japan, aiding in the development of country strategy and representing CTI both internally and externally.

• Establish and nurture robust relationships with clients, sites/institutions, principal investigators (PIs), PMDA, vendors, and partners.

• Provide guidance and oversight to staff based in Japan, facilitating recruitment, onboarding, training, mentoring, and assisting with performance management for country staff.

• Represent Clinical Project Management services during client presentations and in business development initiatives.

• Encourage the integration of Japan's operations with regional and global teams, promoting collaboration and the sharing of knowledge.

• Function as a senior liaison for opportunities in Japan, assisting CTI BD Sales and Regional Operations leadership with strategic insights on business development proposals.

• Create and support marketing and branding initiatives in Japan, including representing CTI at industry conferences.

• Assist in the development and evaluation of Japan-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Oversee the progress of all clinical trials conducted in Japan.

• Ensure operational readiness, business continuity, and efficient resource management across activities in Japan.

• Act as the escalation point for activities based in Japan.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of experience in clinical research.

• More than 5 years of experience in business development and client management.

• Experience in global Contract Research Organizations (CROs) or pharmaceutical companies, managing studies at global, regional, and country levels involving Japan.

• In-depth knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and associated guidelines.

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related health field such as medicine, pharmacy, or health science, ideally with experience in clinical trial management.

• A Master's degree in life sciences, healthcare, or business administration is preferred.
