This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Identify and seek out new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets.

• Build and oversee the enterprise pipeline within the channel ecosystem.

• Develop a go-to-market strategy that aligns with the regional direction in Electronic Security.

• Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.

• Lead the local team to achieve and surpass sales targets, ensuring growth in market share.

• Identify, cultivate, and close large-scale enterprise projects in key verticals.

• Recruit, onboard, and manage distributors.

• Drive partner enablement initiatives and joint business planning.

• Responsible for cash flow management for Malaysia (both sell-in and sell-out).

• Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy that aligns with the company’s overall objectives.

• Establish and report on metrics to assess team performance and address deficiencies as needed.

• Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team.

• Foster a positive and collaborative work atmosphere that promotes innovation and creativity.

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders.

• Develop flagship reference projects.

• Conduct competitive analyses.

• Ensure CRM hygiene and accurate pipeline reporting.

• Provide quarterly business reviews.

• Deliver clear risk and opportunity analyses.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven track record in a senior management position, preferably as a Country Manager or Sales Director within the electronics security sector.

• 5 to 8 years of experience in the electronic security industry at a managerial level.

• Experience collaborating with regional or global security brands.

• Strong network within the security industry in the Malaysian market.

• Deep understanding of the industry, market dynamics, and client requirements.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Demonstrated capacity to develop and implement effective business strategies.

• Experience working in a cross-functional matrix team and environment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Willingness and ability to travel.

• Results-driven nature with the ability to take initiative and accountability for outcomes.

• Highly motivated with a proven ability to drive results.

• Well-presented, professional, reliable, and ethical.
