This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Conduct thorough assessments and provide short-term counseling interventions utilizing a brief solution-focused approach.
• Evaluate client needs and make referrals to suitable internal and external resources to ensure comprehensive support.
• Maintain accurate and detailed case documentation and submit files in line with clinical policies and regulatory standards.
• Achieve clinical objectives and key performance indicators as established by Clinical Management.
• Complete mandatory e-learning modules and participate in training sessions to remain updated on best practices.
• Exhibit strong clinical judgment in evaluating risks associated with child welfare, suicide/self-harm, substance abuse, and other safeguarding issues.
• Use computer systems for scheduling appointments, managing client records, and retrieving organizational information.
• Stay informed about relevant regulatory and legislative changes in mental health practice.
• Engage in weekly team meetings, monthly individual clinical supervision with your manager, and continuous professional development opportunities.
• Attend regular external clinical supervision with a qualified supervisor to uphold clinical best practices.
• Currently hold Registered/Accredited membership with a recognized professional organization (BACP or equivalent).
• If not accredited, must possess at least a Diploma Level 7 in Counseling or an equivalent qualification (including 100 hours of organizational placement).
• A minimum of 3 years of post-qualifying experience working directly with clients.
• Completed at least 450 clinical hours.
• Proven background in assessment and delivery of short-term counseling.
• Demonstrated experience with brief solution-focused counseling models and remote counseling via telephone/video.
• Strong ability to identify and manage risks related to child welfare, suicide/self-harm, substance abuse, and other safeguarding areas.
• Excellent clinical judgment, a solid understanding of confidentiality obligations, a strong work ethic, and professional conduct.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, cultural competency, and interpersonal abilities.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection (essential for remote work) and proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), MS Teams, OneNote, and SoftPhone systems.
• Capability to work full-time, 35 hours per week over 5 days, with flexibility to establish a fixed schedule.
