This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Perform mental health assessments for individuals experiencing neurodegenerative disorders.

• Provide therapeutic counseling services to patients, families, and caregivers through individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based methodologies.

• Work in collaboration with Neurologists, behavioral health professionals, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, and care navigators to offer comprehensive, patient-centered care that incorporates cognitive, behavioral, and functional insights into each treatment plan.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions (such as CBT, ACT, mindfulness, supportive therapy, and grief counseling) customized for patients with neurological conditions and their caregivers.

• Lead caregiver support groups and psychoeducation sessions aimed at enhancing coping strategies, reducing stress, and fostering resilience.

• Assess psychosocial needs and connect patients and families with community resources, support programs, and social services.

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, adhere to telehealth best practices, and maintain ethical and professional standards of practice.


⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in a mental health-related discipline: Social Work (MSW), Marriage & Family Therapy, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or Professional Counseling.

• Currently active clinical license in good standing as one of the following: LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or LMHC (or equivalent, depending on the state).

• Active clinical license in at least one of the following states: CA, TX, FL, NM, WA, AZ.

• Additional state licensure is advantageous.

• Minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience delivering psychotherapy to adults or families.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record documentation.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, along with empathy and the capacity to work cohesively within a multidisciplinary team.
