📋 Description

• Collaborate with the leadership team of Counseling Services to establish a comprehensive counseling program aligned with the ASCA national model.

• Emphasize high school graduation requirements and leverage data to provide targeted support for students, families, and staff.

• Stay updated on all high school graduation requirements, including special considerations.

• Enhance and support systems for accessing and utilizing data throughout the school year cycle.

• Work together with school administration and teachers to assist students who are struggling academically.

• Comprehend the criteria for postsecondary readiness programs, which include Advanced Placement assistance, SAT and ACT preparation, career technical education, college admissions planning, scholarships, and financial aid workshops.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid Ohio School Counselor license.

• Master’s Degree.

• Preferred experience in high school counseling.

• Proficient technology skills, particularly with Microsoft Office applications.

• Exceptional communication abilities, both verbal and written.

• Customer-oriented mindset.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational capabilities.

• High level of adaptability.

• Team player with proven leadership qualities.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to occasionally travel for marketing and state testing events (which may involve overnight stays).

• Capable of using a personal electronic device and an email address for two-step authentication.
