Costpoint Financial Systems Analyst – Core CP Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver functional support to Deltek Costpoint users, addressing inquiries and troubleshooting system-related issues.

• Assist with month-end closing activities, batch processing, and associated financial system functions.

• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and IT departments to investigate, escalate, and resolve application defects and system problems.

• Aid in testing, validation, and troubleshooting during Costpoint upgrades, enhancements, and system modifications.

• Develop and maintain process documentation, procedures, and user assistance materials.

• Address user requests submitted via tickets, emails, and phone calls.

• Help sustain Costpoint master data, ensuring accuracy and reliability of system information.

• Ensure that processes and controls adhere to SOX, audit, security, and company standards.

• Engage in process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing system performance and user experience.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams to support ongoing business and operational requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline; equivalent experience may be accepted in place of a degree.

• Over 2 years of experience in supporting financial systems, ERP applications, or related business processes.

• Familiarity with or support experience in Deltek Costpoint.

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

• Proficient understanding of Deltek Costpoint functionality, screens, and batch processing.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer service capabilities.

• Ability to troubleshoot problems and collaborate effectively with business and technical teams.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Experience in a government contracting setting is preferred.

• Prior experience supporting Costpoint upgrades, testing, or system enhancements is advantageous.

• Familiarity with SOX controls, audits, or compliance requirements is a plus.

• Basic knowledge of SQL or PL/SQL is preferred.

• Experience in creating process documentation, procedures, or user training materials is preferred.
