Corporate Travel Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Altour is seeking a dynamic, energetic, and fast-paced agent to join our team and provide top-notch travel consultation services to Altour clients.

• The ideal candidate will have the ability to accurately quote and book domestic and international air, car, and hotel reservations, while ensuring compliance with all corporate travel policies.

• Respond to inbound corporate and government travel requests.

• Deliver exceptional customer service to all Altour clients.

• Welcome all clients with enthusiasm.

• Offer consultative support to travelers and travel arrangers throughout the booking process.

• Complete all reservations promptly and accurately, ensuring adherence to corporate travel policies.

• Follow relevant guidelines regarding Federal and State travel requirements, including the Fly America Act.

• Secure the best available air/car/hotel rates at the time of booking.

• Utilize client and Altour negotiated programs when applicable.

• Employ GDS low fare search functionalities.

• Meet goal expectations in the following areas: Productivity – measured by transactions per month; Quality – minimal customer service issues; Customer experience – assessed through call monitoring performance and customer surveys.

• Carry out additional administrative tasks as requested.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 years of experience in corporate travel sales.

• Over 5 years of customer service experience, preferably within the travel industry.

• Proficient in international travel bookings and processes.

• Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute.

• A proactive and exceptional customer service approach.

• Strong travel industry knowledge.

• Mastery of Sabre GDS, including formats, shortcuts, enhancements, and pricing.

• Required corporate travel experience.

• Preferred experience in government travel.

• Skilled in managing multiple accounts.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Ability to embrace change and adapt.

• Leadership abilities: possesses a strong understanding of personal skill set and areas for development.
