Corporate Tax Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Oversee the preparation and submission of Individual, Company, and Trust Income Tax Returns.

• Prepare and assist with Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) returns, particularly during peak period from March to June.

• Ensure corporate tax compliance and prepare supporting working papers.

• Prepare tax reconciliations and compliance documentation.

• Utilize internal tax systems, including CTS and Excel-based working paper tools.

• Collaborate with onshore partners and fellow tax team members.

• Provide assistance with general Australian tax compliance issues.

• Ensure that all deadlines are adhered to within the allocated budgeted hours.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Australian Tax.

• Strong background in AU Income Tax compliance.

• Preference for candidates with exposure to Corporate Tax FBT experience (Employment Taxes); training can be provided.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• High level of attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously.

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• CPA or CA qualifications (completed or in progress) are preferred but not essential.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.

• Experience with Australian tax software, with a preference for candidates familiar with CTS.

• Capability to rapidly learn internal systems and processes.
