This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Provide strategic direction to OWA member groups in Europe regarding the development of corporate campaigns and translate strategies into active campaign initiatives that align with regional goals, priorities, and opportunities.
• Mentor and assist groups in enhancing their capacity to independently execute impactful campaigns while ensuring ongoing momentum and sustainability.
• Work collaboratively with groups to pinpoint challenges, resolve issues, and eliminate bottlenecks.
• Tailor campaign strategies and tactics to suit various local and regional contexts, empowering groups to innovate in a sustainable manner.
• Facilitate both in-person and virtual training sessions focused on corporate campaigning and corporate outreach.
• Create and maintain resources and training materials that enhance campaign effectiveness, resilience, and autonomy.
• Cultivate and sustain robust, trust-based relationships with OWA member groups, acting as a strategic partner and catalyst for action.
• Spot opportunities for knowledge sharing and power building among member groups and the broader movement.
• Contribute to the development of regional campaign strategies and drive implementation through OWA member groups.
• Report directly to the Senior Associate Director of OWA, Europe.
• Travel domestically and internationally for six or more trips annually.
• Prior experience with corporate pressure campaigns, corporate engagement, and/or corporate negotiations, encompassing campaign strategy development and execution.
• Proficiency in assessing complex situations, identifying opportunities, and creating practical, context-sensitive solutions that align with broader strategic objectives.
• Capacity to transition work from planning to execution, navigate obstacles, and assist groups in achieving results.
• Skilled in building and maintaining trust-based relationships with a diverse array of stakeholders and inspiring action without direct authority.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities tailored to diverse audiences.
• Proficient in facilitating discussions, training sessions, and collaborative working environments.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take charge of priorities.
• Demonstrates initiative, adaptability, and a creative, solution-oriented approach.
• Capable of managing multiple competing priorities, organizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
• Global perspective with an understanding of various cultural, social, and political contexts.
• Strong commitment to The Humane League’s mission.
• Familiarity with the animal protection movement or other advocacy movements in Europe.
• Valid and current passport.
• Must have authorization to work and reside in Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Netherlands, Norway, United Kingdom, Czechia, Estonia, Hungary, Italy, Portugal, Sweden, Turkiye, or Poland.
• Availability to work outside the standard 9am–5pm hours at least two days each week.

• Hiring bonus equivalent to 10% of gross annual salary, with 50% payable in the first month's salary and the remaining 50% after successful completion of the probationary period.
