This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.
• Oversee all corporate marketing initiatives across the US and Canada, encompassing various activities such as OptivCon (Optiv-led strategic, solution-oriented roadshows), industry conferences (RSA & Black Hat), internal kickoffs, webinars, and partner-end user conferences.
• Strategically plan and implement impactful, data-driven marketing activities and programs aimed at generating pipeline and enhancing global brand visibility—covering strategy development, content management, pre-event campaign planning, event execution, and post-event assessment.
• Create and manage events and similar initiatives that embody the company’s culture, business objectives, and goals.
• Collaborate with the PMO team to define and relay creative requirements for print and digital signage, booth graphics, and event materials, including timelines, specifications, and necessary approvals.
• Work alongside Product Marketing and Brand & Comms to develop program content that educates and inspires the cybersecurity community while promoting awareness and revenue for the organization.
• Partner with the Sales GTM team, AVPs, and Regional Sales Directors to grasp their business needs and customize corporate programs to align with national objectives and regional priorities.
• Responsible for researching and securing venue options, booking keynote speakers, creating program registration pages in Marketo and Cvent, providing registration reports, generating invitations, shipping materials, and managing all onsite program execution.
• Negotiate all logistical aspects including sponsorships, exhibit presence, booth staffing, communications, and handle post-event reporting and analytics while adhering to the designated budget.
• Provide timely and detailed communications to internal stakeholders, including executives, throughout the entire event cycle.
• Analyze investment, anticipated returns, and overall feasibility of proposed activities, collaborating with cross-functional marketing teams if additional resources are needed to achieve program objectives.
• Assess the feasibility of additional corporate opportunities for the sales team to engage with prospects and enhance the pipeline.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to evaluate partner involvement and devise strategies for partner engagement throughout the year, aligning with Optiv solutions and priorities.
• Work with the Global Partner Alliance and Partner Marketing teams to identify and assess key technology partner campaign event strategies that can be executed at a national level to drive and influence sales.
• Responsible for creating and managing program budgets, securing sufficient partner funding, and tracking MDF to ensure no profit loss occurs.
• Collaborate closely with the broader marketing team to promote event visibility through multiple channels and monitor event ROI and its contribution to the company's KPIs.
• Engage with Optiv’s partner community on corporate sponsorships, which involves clear communication, prompt responses, processing and tracking contracts and master agreements, and reconciling all post-event invoicing.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess and influence the utilization of funding pools to ensure investment dollars are optimized to help Optiv and its partners achieve their goals.
• Travel to events as required (15-20%)
• 7+ years of professional experience in business marketing event management, including large-scale event management, strategy, creation, and execution.
• A strong passion for corporate marketing and collaboration with sales to generate pipeline and drive business growth.
• Comprehensive understanding of all phases of corporate marketing, including promotions, traffic generation, staff training, logistics, KPIs, and metrics.
• Proven ability to exhibit leadership, creativity, and initiative.
• Excellent strategic thinking abilities with a knack for making data-driven decisions.
• Experience collaborating with sales leadership and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Strong work ethic with a sense of urgency, proficient multi-tasking, excellent organizational and project management skills, and a positive attitude.
• Experience in the technology or cybersecurity sector is preferred.
• Proven experience in crafting external marketing communications that support marketing programs, lead generation efforts, and marketing communication initiatives.
• Familiarity with product manufacturers and distribution channels.
• Preferred experience with integrated marketing tools such as Salesforce, Marketo, Cvent, NetSuite, WorkFront, Airtable, or similar platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or English is required.
