This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop, assess, and enhance manufacturing techniques utilizing knowledge of product design, materials, chemicals, and production equipment capabilities.

• Collaborate closely with automation, engineering, and safety teams to implement all facets of change management.

• Uphold quality control standards.

• Maintain systems that guarantee the quality of raw materials and finished products.

• Provide support for chemistry- and quality-related manufacturing challenges.

• Serve as a liaison between Research and Technology, Technical Service, Marketing & Sales, and Production.

• Monitor and enhance plant efficiency and output.

• Ensure manufacturing processes function at optimal levels to fulfill supply demands.

• Offer technical guidance on plant operations and process enhancements to Site Process Engineers.

• Collaborate on engineering analyses, including preliminary design, detailed design, project cost evaluation, life cycle cost analysis, and equipment selection.

• Lead Site Process Engineers in the consistent application of Process Safety Management principles.

• Apply principles of mass, momentum, and heat transfer to process and equipment design.

• Ensure that operations and processes comply with safety and environmental regulations.

• Oversee Corrective and Preventative Action documentation and responses.

• Guide Site Process Engineers in root cause analysis and corrective action planning.


⛳️ Requirements

• B.S. in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

• Over 7 years of engineering experience in a PSM-regulated chemical manufacturing environment.

• Proficiency in distributed process control systems like Emerson DeltaV or Honeywell Experion.

• Ability to effectively interact with personnel at all levels within the facility.

• Familiarity with process simulation software such as ASPEN.

• Experience in both batch and continuous chemical manufacturing methods.

• Proven experience in leading and facilitating root cause analysis and process hazard analysis.

• Preferred: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.

• Capability to adhere to safety and environmental regulations.
