This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Serve as the primary contact for LINC’s corporate partners.
• Develop and sustain relationships with businesses to secure sponsorship for fundraising events, campaigns, and annual donations, in addition to providing resources, volunteer assistance, and skills training.
• Collaborate with Marketing and PR to identify target companies and showcase our corporate sponsors on LINC’s website, social media platforms, blogs, and printed materials.
• Assist in managing LINC's LinkedIn account to enhance awareness of our mission, connect with nonprofits, and attract corporate partners.
• Engage with all past and current donors recorded in our CRM on LinkedIn.
• Aid in the planning and execution of effective fundraising activities for partners, guaranteeing that all financial objectives are met and, when possible, exceeded.
• Research and identify companies that share similar missions, visions, and values as LINC to foster partnerships that yield financial support, shared resources, and/or promote LINC within their networks and communities.
• Collaborate closely with the Finance Assistant and Account Manager to ensure the following tasks related to corporate donors are completed promptly: a. Confirm donations are deposited in the bank b. Record donations in our CRM c. Send appropriate tax receipts.
• Oversee and update the details in the company profile within our CRM (NeonCRM). a. Maintain contact names/numbers/addresses b. Create notes with relevant information c. Ensure proper tags are associated with accounts d. Coordinate with CRM Specialist to add/remove accounts from the appropriate email audience list.
• Work in conjunction with In-Kind Donation Officers to secure, document, and allocate corporate merchandise donations, particularly for fundraising events.
• Generate all necessary reports related to corporate partners in an accurate and timely fashion.
• Commit to external networking with relevant businesses and sector networking with peers.
• Adhere to compliance and governance processes to ensure good practices are followed.
• Investigate the employers of our donors to determine if they offer company matching opportunities for their employees' charitable contributions.
• Contact relevant parties as appropriate and record communications in CRM.
• Ensure that all information is collected, utilized, and stored confidentially.
• Proven experience in developing and executing fundraising activities for a corporate audience.
• Demonstrated experience in supporting the growth and retention of partnerships.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships.
• A clear passion for and alignment with LINC’s mission.
• Proficient PC skills with the ability to learn LINC’s CRM and systems.
• Familiarity with various social media platforms.
• Subject to a background check.
• Willingness to work additional hours, including during unconventional times.
• The majority of the work for this position is remote, although face-to-face meetings will be necessary at times with potential, current, and past corporate partners.
