Corporate Legal Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Analyzing issues and preparing documents related to agreements and corporate governance within the group.

• Collaborating with contractors to provide legal support for the group’s companies.

• Drafting initial versions of various types of commercial contracts and negotiating with counterparties.

• Reviewing document drafts prepared by counterparties according to Ukrainian, American, or English law.

• Analyzing matters related to various employment structures.

• Administering and managing specialized equity management and contract management systems.

• Conducting research and preparing conclusions on corporate, labor, and general commercial law matters.

• Assisting senior colleagues with personnel recruitment documents.

• Managing the work of a legal assistant in contract administration.

• Providing legal support for the everyday operations of the company.

⛳️ Requirements

• A legal education from any university.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a Ukrainian or international law firm, a legal department of a "Big Four" company, or an in-house legal department.

• Experience in contract law: Ukrainian, American, and/or English.

• Experience in Ukrainian and Cypriot corporate law.

• Experience in Ukrainian labor law.

• Ability to manage small projects almost independently and a willingness to develop skills for managing larger areas.

• Strong analytical skills.

• Proficiency in the Ukrainian language.

• Competence in MS Office.

• High level of English for document preparation and oral communication with counterparties and contractors.
