This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the formulation of budgets and forecasts, which encompass headcount, compensation, and vendor expenditures.
• Act as a financial advisor across various teams, guiding financial decisions, strategies, and initiatives aimed at performance enhancement.
• Monitor and evaluate expenses to ensure conformity with approved budgets while pinpointing opportunities for cost efficiency.
• Examine financial outcomes and perform thorough variance analyses.
• Convey insights and recommendations to enhance financial performance.
• Produce regular and ad-hoc financial reports for the CFO and senior leaders in General and Administrative functions.
• Offer commentary on emerging trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Collaborate with departments, including Accounting, to guarantee the integrity and compliance of financial data.
• Create and sustain advanced financial models for scenario analysis, long-term planning, and strategic initiatives.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance financial processes.
• Discover opportunities to integrate AI into tasks and responsibilities to boost the efficiency and accuracy of reporting and forecasting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline (MBA preferred).
• 7-10 years of experience in corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, or similar positions, ideally in a fast-paced fintech, consumer finance, or technology setting.
• Proven track record of delivering financial insights to senior management.
• Exceptional financial modeling capabilities.
• Advanced expertise in Excel/GSheets.
• Proficient in the integration of AI tools into current or previous roles across all responsibilities and projects.
• Demonstrated capacity to streamline and enhance financial processes, with a focus on operational efficiency.
• Strong collaboration and business partnering abilities; experience with G&A functions is a plus.
• Excellent communication and persuasion skills, with the capability to present intricate data and financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• High attention to detail, robust organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a deadline-oriented environment.
• Experience reporting to or collaborating directly with a CFO or Head of FP&A.
