This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +1 more state.
• Develop and sustain acquisition models, encompassing valuation, purchase price allocation, deal structure scenarios, sensitivities, and pro forma platform effects.
• Examine target financial statements, revenue composition, recurring inspection revenue, customer concentration, backlog, and margin trends.
• Formulate recommendations and evaluate strategic and financial compatibility.
• Oversee transaction execution from the Letter of Intent through to closing.
• Facilitate financial, commercial, operational, legal, tax, insurance, and HR due diligence.
• Manage due diligence request lists, data room setup and administration, information flow, and closing logistics.
• Assist in drafting and negotiating LOIs, purchase agreements, disclosure schedules, and employment contracts.
• Create investment memos, data packs, and presentations for leadership, Investcorp, and Board reviews.
• Provide reporting on pipeline and transactions.
• Monitor post-close performance against acquisition expectations.
• Aid in proprietary outreach to owner-operated fire protection businesses and participate in seller introduction calls.
• Contribute to special projects and strategic initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Over 2 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development.
• Proven capability to construct financial and valuation models from the ground up.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Strong skills in PowerPoint.
• Direct experience in supporting M&A transactions throughout the deal lifecycle.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and sound commercial judgment.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Capacity to engage credibly with business owners, executives, and external advisors.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams, deadlines, and stakeholders concurrently.
• High-ownership mindset and capacity to work independently in a remote, entrepreneurial environment.
